Through the Organization account you can add member accounts with controlled access to the resources. Multiple member accounts can have the ability to allocate the resources and select which folders are available to the members to work in. This depends on the permission available to the organization admin. An individual can only belong to a single organization, but shares are still possible outside of Organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are using the <strong>Subscription Snap XMP Online<\/strong> service, please contact the Support team to talk about setting up Organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are using an <strong>On Premises Snap XMP Online<\/strong> service, you need set up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/organization-permits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organization Permits<\/a> on your system before you can use the Organization accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After setting up the Organization Permits, you can create an organization account and member accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/create-a-new-organization-account-by-a-useradmin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Create a new organization account by a UserAdmin<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/create-a-new-organization-account-plus-the-member-accounts-by-a-useradmin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Create a new organization account plus the member accounts by a UserAdmin<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When the accounts are set up you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/invite-a-new-member-by-the-organization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Invite a new member by the Organization<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/transfer-a-permit-to-another-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transfer a permit to another member<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/transfer-a-users-existing-root-folder-to-another-user\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transfer a user\u2019s existing root folder to another user<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/recover-an-existing-users-permit-into-the-pool-of-available-permits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Recover an existing user\u2019s permit into the pool of available permits<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/admin-functionality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">administration functionality<\/a> to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"block-f219fb83-5569-4c65-9fef-858cdbdb1582\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Migrate an existing \u2018master account\u2019 to become an organization account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a link for a customer to use to create their own Organization account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The organization can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/snapxmp\/unit-usage-of-organization-accounts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">keep track of each member account&#8217;s unit usage<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Organization account is the primary account in an organisation, which owns the resources such as permits, licences, surveys, templates and folders.
